Antique Vintage Hurricane Oil Table Lamp Hand Painted Flowers Lions Glass Brass!
This is a gorgeous vintage table lamp. It is made of brass and glass. The glass is a clear/frosted color, with hand painted flowers and ferns in purple, yellow, orange, and green. The glass is formed so that there are four lions heads that protrude from it. This is an unconverted lamp, and would use oil and a wick to light. We don’t have a chimney or a globe that would have undoubtedly sat on top.
This measures 14″ tall and 12″ wide.
It is in great condition still. The metal parts have some surface rust or chipped paint. I see no cracks or chips in the glass. The painted flowers all appear to be in great condition, with minimal to no fading. It will need a new wick and some oil to get it to work, but otherwise I don’t see why this wouldn’t be in functioning condition! I have no idea how old it is other than it looks like it survived quite a few decades intact!
