Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat old gumball machine. This is an old Model A Columbus machine. The globe is embossed “Columbus Registered” with a star emblem on either side. The front graphic reads “Columbus Reg. Trade Mark Model A The Columbus Vending Co. Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A., One Cent Here, Then Pull Lever.” There is a second Columbus label near the pull and the dispenser cover is a star emblem. The base is embossed “Patented.” It also, has a open, cut lock embossed “Columbus 3 Lever.” Measures 16 1/2″ tall x 8″ diameter at the globe.
In Very Good Condition. All Original. There is wear & minimal surface oxidation to the finish, due to age. The globe has the typical manufacturer bubbling & there are two chips near the top below the red cover (please refer to the last photo). Please refer to the close-up photos for better detail.
