This is a gorgeous antique doll’s dress that is for a fashion, china or wax doll. It is all original and is in . It is beautifully embroidered in applied cross stitch. It is made of stiff cotton poplin and is edged at the neck, sleeves and applied edgings with lace. The photos don’t do the dress justice as I had to use paper as my model. It has it’s original fastenings of hooks and eyes at the bodice, waist and belt. It measures 14.5″ (37cm) down the front from front bodice to hem. It has a long and full skirt at the back – see photos. It measures approx 10″ (26cm) around the waist when fastened. The sleeves are a little under 2″ (5cm) long.
