Victorian dating from 1880 or earlier. Veneered in burr and figured walnut in top class condition.The centre piece is inlaid flowers on an ebony oval with a burr walnut surround with ebony and holly stringing around the lid. French polished by myself ,by hand, the old fashioned way. The inner lid is veneered and the base is lined with a designer pale parchment paper which is perfect for the period.
