ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK EMBROIDERED PANEL IN FRAME
On offer here is an antique Chinese silk embroidered panel, housed within a glazed frame. The silk is so delicate and the amount of work is outstanding. The panel itself is cream coloured silk and the threads used are silks. They are subtly coloured and the image portrays mandarin ducks on water, exotic birds in flight, insects and water plants. The frame has an inner pale pink silk border. It is a lovely decorative offering and it is one of two matching panels I am offering, please see my other listings as I have a selection of these silks, all have come from the same home.
It measures 16.2 inches high x 15.2 inches wide. The image area is 10 inches x 10.9 inches wide
Condition; It is offered in very good, pre owned condition, there are no holes, there is a fold line across the top -please study all photo’s which can be enlarged to larger than life size by clicking upon them and be sure to ask that are of relevance to your decision to bid. I have tried to be accurate in my listing but I am not an expert whereas you probably are!
