Up for bids is this antique, cast iron, Red Jacket Water Pump. Another great barn find, this old pump is in excellent, original condition. It is uncleaned, with the original patina and faint traces of the old original paint. This pump is a little dusty and dirty from sitting in a barn for years and would clean up very easily for repainting or restoration. When I found the pump it was still attached to about 30 ft of water pipe and the old cylinder. (I’ll try to list the cylinder later this week). I had to cut the old water pipe to ship but left enough that it can be threaded and attached to new pipe. This pump is still very usable and ready to be put to work or simply enjoyed as decor. The handle raises up and down, pump stands 42 inches tall from the base to the top (excluding the water pipe) In the last couple pictures you will see where a pump brace had been and the bolt had broke off, also there is a very thin crack in the cast iron body that runs along the embossed “Red Jacket” logo. If you’re looking for a pump to repaint or use, the old broken bolt and the crack are more cosmetic than anything. If the pump is bolted down secure before using you should be just fine. As far as old well pumps go, this Red Jacket pump is complete and original unlike many of the rebuilt pumps that are put back together with various new parts or covered with layers of new, sloppy paint. Don’t miss out by waiting until the last minute to bid. This is a large and heavy item, so the flat rate shipping can only apply to buyers in the continental United States. Payment: this is simple, Pay Pal. It’s free to register and cost nothing to use. Payment is politely expected within 48 hours of winning the item. If the item is not paid for within 4 days, will open an unpaid item case automatically. I will not turn off the unpaid item case. So this is pretty simple- If you are the winning bidder, Please pay for it.

Returns & Damaged Items: If your items arrives damaged: Step #1, Relax. It’s
insured (at my expense) and you WILL BE REFUNDED by me through Pay-Pal.
Step #2, Contact me so I can get everything started. I will file the claim and refund your full purchase price plus the cost of shipping. I
may ask that you keep the item a few days before discarding or email me
some pictures in case there is a dispute on the insurance claim. Simply put, I will handle it. You’re out nothing.
I ship everything with Delivery Confirmation. Items with a selling price of $200 and over will require a signature as proof of delivery.
Lost in transit items: If you think your item is lost, contact me. I’ll
do everything I can to locate it, even if it means calling a postmaster
somewhere and saying, “Hey! We have a problem!” Believe me, I’ve done
this before and it works. Just keep in mind that occasionally packages get held up in warehouses or sorting facilities. But your purchase is insured against loss (at my expense) However, patience often pays. If not, it’ll take about 30 business days before I can file a claim and issue a refund for loss.
If
you receive the item and you feel it was grossly misrepresented, (this
will not happen if you look at the pictures, read the description and
ask questions) Or you simply changed your mind and no longer want it. No
problem. Contact me and let me know it’s on its way, email me a
tracking number for the package, and then just use the same box, and
same packaging. When the item arrives in undamaged condition, I will refund the PURCHASE PRICE. I WILL NOT PAY RETURN POSTAGE.
