This is a 16 size Ball Official Railroad Standard watch by Waltham. It has 17 jewels and is stem wind and lever set, in excellent running condition. The Fahys Windsor swing-out case has a new plastic crystal and is monogrammed on the back. It has brass showing in places.
Some grinding was done by the lever for setting the time, presumably because the set lever would not pull out. At any rate, the lever pulls out fine now. The bow is very tight, the crown is worn nearly smooth. The dial shows many cracks, but still looks OK. The hands are plum colored. I will not guarantee accurate time keeping, but when I tested it last week it kept near perfect time over a 24 hour period. The balance has good, strong motion and a solid sounding beat.
