A pair of matched copper J-form “Taurex” candle holders designed by Walter von Nessen for Chase. Each approximately 9 7/8 inches at highest point; 8 1/8 inches wide. Stamped with Chase mark (see photo). The Taurex line of candle holders were also available in chrome and a U-form version of the design was made. The line was produced by Chase from 1933 to 1937. These are in with no dents or repairs and have a very nice old patina – though it’s not apparent in these photos.
