This
is an original 1930s to WWII era Imperial Japanese Army gunto sword tsuba. The condition is good and there’s no physical damage, just a lot of patina darkening from age. It measures 72 mm x 58 mm. It measures approx. 7.5 mm thick on the outside edge and 5 mm thick at the tang hole. The opening for the sword tang is approx. 25.5 mm x 8 mm. It weighs 140 grams.
