You are looking at a beautiful, RARE, old R.C.A microphone with original stand (KN-1A model) that was manufactured from 1948-1956. The mic is tested and output is extremely strong. It easily picks up your voice from a good 2 feet away! The overall finish is very nice as seen in the photos provided. There is an issue with the door that opens being that the original metal catch inside the compartment has broken. It’s just the tip so there is still much to work with. Not to say it can’t be repaired but that should be pointed out. A simple piece of small electrical tape will do the job until then.
I used a cable from my Shure 330 mic to test on this R.C.A and it will not be included in the sale. That 3 prong cable is what you need to power her up and I tried to take a good shot so there is no misunderstanding of what will be required.
The stand is really nice shape and includes the three original pads to keep the mic from sliding or scratching any object it comes in contact with. You don’t come across these very often or as in nice a condition.
Bidding starts low at just .99 cents and there will be no reserve. If you are unhappy with the purchase for any reason simply return it as nice a condition as it was sent.
