Very nice vintage Chad Valley Magna teddy bear, dating from 1930s,
made of golden mohair plush,
soft stuffed with kapok throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
has got original dark amber and black glass eyes,
original black horizontally stitched nose,
inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original cloth pads in fair condition with couple small holes, but nothing bad – stuffing not coming out,
there’s some repair to the left paw pad and some staining to the feet pads,
remains of three original claws stitching.
Teddy will arrive dressed in and old hand knitted sweater.
Althought label is missing, there are very clear signs on the left foot pad where his label used to be.
Teddy is approx. 15” tall.
Condition – teddy bear is in good vintage condition with general wear and balding patches, some sagging in limbs.
