Up for bid is an antique Hamilton Watch Co Railway Special pocket watch.
I purchased the watch from an estate. I do not know much about the mechanics of watches and have not had it tested and serviced. I am selling it as is.
On the face of the watch, it is marked Hamilton Railway Special. Please note the cracks on the face of the watch itself (not in the glass but in the white part with the numbers). There is a line from the 10 to the 1 in a half circle and then another half circle from the 2 to the 3.
On the side of the watch, it is marked “stainless steel”.
On the back plate on the inside, it is marked:

And then what appears to be etched by hand underneath that number, “E-0-3-E”.
On the back, it has the markings:

992 B, 21 Jewels

On the top part of the watch, the “handle”, has some solder on both sides of it (the last 2 pictures). Again, I do not know the history of this watch and do not know how it has been touched up.
It has a diameter of 2″.
