Wow, look at THIS one!! This is a Beautiful Hamilton 992B, size 16, 21 Jewel, 10K Gold Filled, Railroad grade, Pocket Watch.This is a Beautiful Lever Set/Stem Wind, pocket watch! I checked the time on this watch with the clock on my computer, and it is right on! It has not lost, or gained a minute in the last 24 hours!
The Movement reads, HAMILTON WATCH CO., U.S.A., 992B, 21 Jewels, ADJ. TEMP., AND 6 POSITIONS. Serial number C282340 = 1950 production date. The Jewels are set in gold cups. This movement has been recently serviced, completely taken apart, all parts run through the ultrasonic cleaner, and then oiled, greases, and VERY carefully put back together. It has a new glass crystal in it. So you don’t have the added expense of having all this done if you are the lucky winner! As you can see in the pictures this is a very pretty movement. It is so clean inside and out.
The Dial is a beautiful Melamine, “RAILWAY SPECIAL” Single Sunk, HG = Heavy Gothic Dial. It has the BeautifulSteel Black Hands, and Seconds hand. The dial reads HAMILTON. “RAILWAY SPECIAL” This beautiful dial is in great condition. It has no hairlines or chips. The front and back covers screw on and off nicely.
The Beautiful Hamilton #11 case reads, HAMILTON WATCH CO., 10K GOLD FILLED, LANCASTER PA.,#K155319.The bezel and case frame number is 5242. The glass Crystal is NEW. This case is a VERY pretty case, it has NONE of the normal dents or scratches, that a watch will get while being worn working on the railroad. It does have a few little pits in it.This is just one of the more BEAUTUIFUL yellow gold filled watches, and a BEAUTIFUL addition to any fine watch collection.
