I recently purchased several old toys from an auction in Crumpton Maryland. I usually buy jewelry so toys are not my field of expertise. I took this toy and a couple others to a local antique shop and the owner told me this toy is more than likely from the 1950’s or 1960’s and it was made in Japan. I asked him who the maker was and he said possibly Nipon or Nippon. I could not find this manufacturer anywhere on the internet, so I am not sure if he knew what he was talking about. I am assuming it is a valuable toy because he made me a few offers before I could push my way out of the store. I purchased two more of these and an armored car vehicle about the same size as these that I may list later. The other three toys are mint with mint boxes, this box has a few issues so I am selling it first before I decide what to do with the others. This box has a red sticker on it that is flaking away when touched and also has a taped corner where the staple is missing. If you have feel free to ask.
