VINTAGE ANTIQUE STRAIGHT RAZORS (2) WADE & BUTCHER SHEFFIELD w/Case

VINTAGE ANTIQUE STRAIGHT RAZORS (2) WADE & BUTCHER SHEFFIELD w/Case

VINTAGE You are two vintage antique straight razors in poor to fair condition complete with case. The first folding razor measures 6-3/16″ long folded, 9-3/4″ fully extended. The blade is 7/8″ wide at the widest point and the wide portion of  the blade measures 3-1/8″ long. On the blade stem it is marked “MANUFACTURED BY WADE & BUTCHER, SHEFFIELD”, and on the blade on one side is etched with what looks like a bunch of wheat. The blade has some spots of corrosion, mostly at the top at the end. The handle on one side is broken at the rivet. On one side of the handle it is marked “CELEBRATED RAZOR”, and on the other side of the handle it is marked “UNIVERSALLY APPROVED”.
The second razor measures 6-9/16″ long folded, 10-1/8″ fully extended. The blade measures 1-1/16″ at the widest point and the wide portion of the blade measures 3-1/8″ long. On the stem near the pivot point it is marked “WADE & BUTCHER, FOR BARBERS USE”. It is noticeably of heavier construction. I assume this was a heavy duty model designed for barbers. The handles are in good condition with no cracks, some scratches at the tips from sharpening. The blade has some corrosion, mostly at the top at the end.
The case is marked with raised a raised pattern. The case is in fair condition except for a split on one side (see photo).
The razors and case weigh 6.5 ounces, with packaging they will ship at 12 ounces. I combine shipping and pass the savings on, so please view my other listings. Thank you for looking.
