Ok. Back in the swing again listing items! Many unusual items to come. You never know what I may be putting up here!
My store is called Ziggys Vault. Ziggy is my Quaker Parrot who was a rescue from a broken home and I found him at a flea market during spring of 2010. A picture of him is now up at the store. I’ll get a better picture eventually, but you can all get an idea of what he looks like! I asked my Facebook friends to help me name the store…and this was the result!
I got my stash of jewelry to list back in the 70’s and 80’s when my mom Helen & I used to go flea marketing, and antique hunting
together. Oh, every Thursday was garage sale day, and we’d go off and spend lots of quality time together. Saturday’s and Sundays we hit the flea markets and antiques shows.
Mom is now is gone, but I have all
our treasures…and there are boxes and boxes of them–I estimate at
least 50,000 pieces, probably more.
Why? Well….
My youngest son entered Berklee College of Music this fall in Boston. So proud of him…
His first quarter went wonderfully…got straight A’s! – Percussion performance is his major.
Time to thin out the memories, clear out the crawl space, and help pay for a hefty college tuition!
It will be as much fun for me to dig out and remember the stories of each piece as it will be for you to bid & win!
Some boxes (and I mean big ones) haven’t been touched in over 25 years–no clue what I’ll even find.

Especially that sterling oriental needle holding gizmo….that thing confused the heck out of me! I thought it was a watch fob!
