This extremely rare seldom if ever found darling 11 inches tall Fritz Bierschenk character baby boy antique doll is in very good condition. Fritz Bierschenk of Sonneberg, Germany, made this remarkable Character Baby circa 1910. The firm, created in 1906, appears to have made bisque dolls for a few years only. is in with perfect bisque head incised “FB/0 ”. The gorgeous head has blue intaglio eyes, flyaway brows, rosy cheeks, dimpled chin and smiling open-closed mouth. Subtly molded hair is brush-stroked tan. A cheerful and huggable boy this is.He is free from any chips, cracks, hairlines or damage. His original antique composition body is in very good condition. He is wearing an adorable outfit adorned with a vintage broach and antique lace.
