This is a very fine Genuine Vacheron & Constantine movement only made for J.E. Caldwell Co. (Philadelphia) – a prestigious firm. Serial number 333532. It is wound tight but the balance is free and will run for a few seconds – needs cleaned and serviced to be put in service. It comes with the crown and stem and was removed from an 18K gold case that was melted. The original porcelain dial has no chips or cracks under 5X magnification. It has deep blue hands.
