is a superb quality set of Antique Silver Plate Asparagus or Pastry serving tongs. The tong feature a very nice pierced design pattern on one side and solid on the other, perfect for serving pastries, asparagus etc. The tongs are also a nice practical size for use measuring 9″ long and they are in with minor signs of use and age, but no base metal showing through. The set even feels great in your hands weighing a solid 133 grams and they have never been monogrammed which is a nice find. The Tongs are not marked, which is not unusual for Antique Silver Plate, but judging by the quality, they were made by a very fine period company. I have only had a few sets like this over the years, I doubt you will find another any time soon, as nice and up for auction with no reserve !

Returns:
We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we state is significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer’s remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how “small” four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must be posted within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
