Made of white cotton, round neckline, bodice is done with vertical pintucks, center insertion of broderie anglaise, sleeves are slope shouldered, pintucks at ends of sleeves and trimmed in lace, lace trims the high waist edge and there are pinch pleats, flows loosely to hem, hemline has a few pintucked rows then a wide ruffle along hem, trimmed at hem with lace, back bodice also done with pintucks, covered buttons close the back, good condition for age, not washed, a few spots commensurate with age, measures 11 1/2″ long, 6″ across armpits laying flat, 3 1/2″ sleeve length and 1 1/4″ across cuffs, 6″ along neckline.
