Beautiful & Stunning pair of Antique Hand Hammered Moore & Hoffman Creamer and Sugar Bowls. Time frame on this pair is 1920’s to 1930’s era (antique). They are in original (unpolished) condition. The maker of these pieces of art definitely spent a LOT of time into the craftmanship and workmanship of this GORGEOUS set.
Pictures 5-8 are of the sugar bowl. Pictures 9-12 are of the creamer bowl.
There is an “M” stamped on the front of both the creamer and sugar bowls.
The Sugar Bowl weighs exactly 47.9 grams or 1.54 Troy Ounces of .925 Sterling Silver.The Creamer Bowl weighs exactly 46.6 grams or 1.495 Troy Ounces of .925 Sterling Silver.Total Combined Weight of BOTH is 94.5 grams or 3.035 Troy Ounces of .925 Sterling Silver.
*It appears that something happened to the base of the creamer bowl at some previous time. Not exactly sure if it was accidentally dropped or what happened-it wasn’t me. The last two pictures of the creamer bowl show the small dent/twist looking mark that is visible on base. The creamer has a tiny rock (not very noticeable at all) when it sits on a flat surface-unlike the sugar which sits perfectly flat (due to this imperfection mentioned & shown in pictures 11 & 12. This dent/ twist does NOT affect the function or ability to use the creamer bowl. It is minor but noticeable. It really should not affect the resale value of the bowl TOO much.Please use my pictures provided and my description above to evaluate this RARE Antique set of MH Moore & Hoffman Creamer and Sugar Bowls.
