This is a hard-to-find antique amazing leather covered French fashion doll-sized dome top trunk or travel luggage/train case. The little trunk is leather covered in a dark brown leather, leather handle, beautifully antiquated hardware that has a nice patina to it, round dome top to the trunk, there is some embossing along the outer edges of trunk, it is in nice condition for age with some light surface wear commensurate with the age of the piece, it has its original fascinating indigo blue lining, a delightful mirror on the inside lid which has a fine braided type accent along entire outer parameter of the mirror. There was an old turkey red leather shoe tucked inside this little doll trunk so I am leaving it as is. There was only this one, lone leather shoe! This would be an exceptional French fashion doll accessory to add to your French bebe or old fashion dolls’ trousseau or as a display piece. Some wear to the leather handle as shown in the photos. This leather-covered tiny fashion doll trunk measures 5″ long, 4″ high and 3 1/2″ thick. A definite delight! Will ship boxed to avoid damage in transit.
