This week Chamberlain Antiques LLC is very pleased to offer a very important collection of Asian antiques and works of art for auction. The quality of this collection is of amazing quality with some very important examples. All items in this collection will be listed for an opening bid at $9.99 with no reserve.
This auction is for a beautiful and rare Chinese porcelain vase. The vase is finished with a rich turquoise glaze and is in bottle form with a garlic top. The exterior of the vase has a design of reserves around the body containing scenes of flowers and trees. The neck has a design of leaves climbing towards the top with a ring of ruyi around the top rim. The underside has a finely written incised Kangxi mark in a double blue ring, but we feel it probably dates to the 19th century. The foot reveals a smooth snow white paste. The vase stands 8.5 inches (21.6 cm) tall.
