A MAGNIFICENT HAMILTON 24-HOUR MILITARY POCKET WATCH!

Up for your bidding pleasure is this amazing and rare Hamilton 24-hour military pocket watch! You’re going to love the way it feels to use this piece and show it off to family and friends as often as possible! Its silver case measures approximately 50 mm and features a terrific coin edge detail around the bezel and again around the outside border of the back case. It is in overall with only minor surface scratches from normal use over time. Inside the screw down back case, you will find the “Silver .800 Fine” stamp, and although faint, if you use a magnifying glass or loupe, you can still make out the military markings on the outside of this original silver United States military case. These are the pieces of American history that are getting harder and harder to find each day – what a fantastic opportunity for the watch collector or fan of American military memorabilia!

The clean and clear period correct crystal shows through to an extremely minty black dial with lots of vintage style! The inner border numbers the hours one through twenty-four, and the center is signed “G.C.T.” Large white heavy spade style hands move around the dial, and a bold white stick style seconds hand sweeps around, pointing with its arrow tip to the minute markers on the outside border which are numbered at each five minute interval. You’re going to be so pleased to hold this extra beefy piece in your hand and use it everyday!

Inside the screw down back case, you’ll find the high grade 22 jewel movement is in exceptionally clean condition, and which still runs with absolute accuracy and high precision! It is again signed “Hamilton Watch Co. USA” as well as “U.S. Govt.” and is stamped “4992B” as well as with the serial number 4C48193 which dates this piece to approximately 1942! With its very unique details and highly functional features, we know you’re going to love owning this piece of American military history for years to come – this magnificent Hamilton will be quickly become the centerpiece of your fine military or pocket watch collection!
