These superb, professionally made SILK/COTTON velvet curtains come to you in excellent vintage condition with the only issue to note being some sun discolouration to the back/reverse of the fabric…. this is not visible at all from the front and being superficial does not affect the integrity of the fabric in any way. The front fabric of the curtains is in MINT condition and presents beautifully with no fade, marks or blemishes to note. These curtains are an exceptional calibre – originally HUGE dollars to have made and being AUTHENTIC vintage, come with that unmistakeable quality the cheaper velvets just can’t replicate!

A beautiful colourway – a Rich Ruby Red – these draperies look STUNNING up and hanging and will add INSTANT drama and glamour to any room!
Perfect for the Gothic, Burlesque, Paris Apartment, Moulin Rouge, Romantic, Victorian décor, Parlour Room, Vintage inspired boudoir or home theatre!

These ones are EXTRA-LONG – ideal for your higher ceilings or windows or for puddling around the floor for added style and elegance.
A quality silk/cotton velvet, the contrasting loom/stripe finish gives these curtains a very regal, opulent appeal, adding a beautiful shimmery effect and a range of hues that alter to deeper, shadowy tones under low lighting to stunning effect!

These curtains are single layer (unlined), HEAVY GRADE and densely woven – making them TOTAL blockout, yet still lightweight enough to use across a range of decorating applications….ideal for your home theatre, photographic or sound studio application and any other room where enhanced acoustics and insulation are needed.

They come with a single (narrow) stretch of gathering tape across the top edge, allowing you to adjust the width to suit your requirements within the hemine measurements and also feature simple, overlocked selvedges (edges) for a neat, tailored finish.

x 240 cm (7ft. 11in.) long …..

Please note:  Each valance comes with velcro tabs attached and there are two styles of valance available –
one flat valance which sits across front of curtains and a second style of valance which is made to slip over a timber piece sized to suit your requirements.
