You
are an original 1960s/1970s Plant Stand. The main
triangular table is made of chipboard and finished with a chocolate brown
Formica top with a wood grain pattern. There is a thin white plastic rim. The
table has three removable wooden feet made of lighter wood with decorative
grooves and placed at a slight angle. There is a large stem covered with a
striped chocolate brown and white plastic cover threaded through the main
table. It bears three small triangular platforms each made of chipboard with
wood effect chocolate brown Formica tops, finished with dark brown and white
rims. These platforms can slide along the stem (except for the top one which is
fixed).
The
Plant Stand is in good/very good condition. However, it presents
with age related scratches and marks on the wooden feet but these do not
interfere with the overall look of the piece and the Plant Stand is
structurally sound.

This beautiful
Plant Stand was a key piece in 50s interior and carried through to the 70s. It
would complement beautifully a retro interior.
