Up for your consideration is this old beautiful 4/4 violin signed and labelled: Jofeph Fifcher fecit a Batis-bona 1818 (See photo). This violin has a bright and sweet tone. The back is beautiful and the scroll has excellent symmetry. The back of the scroll is somewhat unique as it has that part that resembles a shield. Sound post is up. This violin has a newly fitted bridge. The pegs are made of quality boxwood. I do not see any cracks on this violin except for a small chip on the right f-hole. This is very minor and does not affect the violin’s quality sound. This violin is fully blocked and lined so you know you are buying a quality violin. This violin comes with an old case for extra protection during shipping.
