I am so thrilled to present this stunning Circa 1920 Art Deco 14ct Rolled Gold Amethyst Paste Pendant. with its Original Belcher Link Chain. which is 46cm or 18 ” long.
The design of the Pendant is a teardrop with smooth lines so typical of the Deco Era.. The stone mounting has fine little etruscan beads as a design to enhance its look.. This is almost a GREEN GOLD hue.. a beautiful rich lemon yellow gold shade … as is the chain which is original to the pendant I doubtthis was ever worn due to its condition
This is made by K & L and hallmarked 14ct RG and they are a European company.. reknown for their VERY HIGH GRADE pieces..
I have listed separately an Amethyst antique rose gold bangle and also a vintage gold on silver amethyst ring .. so they all look wonderful together !!! ..
The stone is a teardrop shape and faceted at the back, so that when you look at it.. it is like a looking glass with prisms.. but better !.The amethyst bangle i have listed has a stone set the same way..
