Art Deco lovers will find this very rare collectable Illinois “Sterling” gent’s dress pocket watch to die for! Every detail on this over-the-top Deco 1921 beauty is homage to that stylish and celebratory era. This very rare model was made for Kay Jewelers in 1921 and is one of those obscure, hard-to-find beauties that you only see once in a blue moon.
Take a long look at the very fancy gold filled engraved case housing this gentleman’s dress pocket watch; the case is very ornate and represents the crossover era between Art Noveau and Art Deco fabulously. Handsome pinstripes compose the background, behind ornate flourishes and flowers. The back of the case depicts a house, and the front holds the original owner’s flowing monogram. This vintage Illinois pocket wtach is a spectacular piece, and we are offering this fabulous stem wound, stem set Art Deco beauty with no-reserve bidding, starting at just one cent! The sunken auxiliary dial holds the original matching blue arrow hand and clearly marked seconds.
