K167a. COLUMBUS WATCH CO., 18 SIZE, FULL-PLATE, 11J OR 15J, LEVER SET, OPEN FACE SIDEWINDER POCKET WATCH.
THE NICKEL MOVEMENT APPEARS TO BE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION WITH ONLY A FEW SCRATCHES AND IS MARKED COLUMBUS WATCH CO., COLUMBUS, OHIO, SAFETY PINION, SERIAL NUMBER 155,942 CIRCA 1890.
THE OPEN FACE NICKEL ALLOY CASE IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION SHOWING TWO DENTS ON THE RIM AND ONLY MINOR WEAR. THE CASE IS MARKED FAHYS ORESILVER NO. 1, PAT FEB. 19TH 1884.
THE SINGLE-SUNK WHITE PORCELAIN DIAL IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION WITH ONLY ONE HAIRLINE. THE DIAL HAS BLACK ROMAN HOUR FIGURES AND IS MARKED COLUMBUS WATCH CO. THE WATCH HAS A VERY THICK BEVELED CRYSTAL AND BLUED HANDS.
WATCH LOOKS TO BE IN RUNNING ORDER BUT NOT CHECKED FOR TIMING ACCURACY……….
