A handsome and large teddy bear dating to c.1920’s who stands a stocky 23 inches tall, plus his old pal a Chiltern spaniel dog. Ted is in strong but loved condition with balding and fading to his once golden mohair, the original colour is more apparent to his back. His joints are a bit loose but he still sits very nicely and all four pads were covered a long time ago but suit him well. The insert ears are typical of the period and like the limbs are a bit loose too, with a tear to the side of the right one. He has original glass stick pin eyes, but his lost his nose and smile. His spaniel pal is unjointed and very loved but does retain the Chiltern printed label.
