Great pennsylvania folk art carving depicting a group of song birds ca 1920s. The birds are beautifully carved and painted and sit on a branch. The work was made to hang on a wall. They are carved from pine and are in very good condition with a light nick to one of the birds tail and a tiny nick to the same birds beak. They measure 8″W x 5 1/2″H x 3 1/4″D. They came from a private collection in PA and where purchased by them at a local estate sale many years ago. Very colorful and wonderful whimsy, please see photos below.
