PAYMENT BY PAYPAL ONLY PLEASEThis lovely antique Necessaire / Etui is made of what looks like tortoiseshell and bone? It measures 6.5 cm tall and 6 cm wide and 5cm deep approx. The inside has a pin cushion in the lid which looks old but is probably not original to the box. It contains a thimble again probably not original although it is silver, in good condition and is hallmarked Birmingham 1916. It also contains a reel of J.Wreford and Co. china sewing silk.The box is in good condition for its age only some very minor chips on the edges and a light scratch (1 cm long)on the back. The hinge and catch both work well. It has a silver plate on the top which is engraved with 2 letters which look like L and G.
