auction is of an American Elgin Natl. Watch Co. Gold Filled Pocket Watch.
This antique looking pocket watch features lovely floral
designs with a cute flower fence at the center of the cover. The patterns on
the pocket watch are very detailed and full of textures. The face of the watch
is white with roman numerals. Printed on the face is, “Elgin Natl. Watch Co.â€
At the lower bottom is a chronograph that is about 0.5 inches in diameter.
The defaults would include a bit of a smear on the face
dial, and a small chip near the VI and VII. There is also no crystal over the
face of the pocket watch. The
watch is not running.
The pocket watch is connected to a chain that measures to
10.5 inches in length. There is also a clip attached that measures 1 inch in
length and 0.5 inches in width. In the front of the clip are the letters “WM†–
on the back is engraved, “Swan Pat.NO D-112997 WM.â€
The pocket watch has a diameter of 2.25 inches and weighs
147.7 grams.
