Offered is a signed Dirk Van Erp hand hammered copper tray. Heavy gauge copper, with exquisite radially hammered center, pushed out handles and rolled rim. In excellent vintage condition, this tray carries an early open box mark. The tray had been polished several months prior to an estate sale, however is in very nice vintage condition. The natural patination is underway, or repationation easily achieved. There are no dents, however there are some areas showing polishing, and other normal expected signs of wear. The patina should make all those areas blend in beautifully, I will leave that to the new owner. The tray measures 13 1/4 inches long by 10 1/8 inches wide. An exceptional example of this rare form and of the skill of Van Erp.
