She’s a lovely old cake pedestal done in a deeply and crisply pressed pattern of blocks. A delightful piece for your dining table, buffet or countertop and an ideal gift for your collector Mom on Mother’s Day!

VERY TALL SIZE: 9-3/4″ O.D. (measured outside the rim), 9″ I.D. (measured inside the rim, the cake seating area) x a VERY LOFTY 7-1/8″ TALL! She stands nice and steady on a WIDE 5-1/4″ diameter foot, with a barely there tilt to the plate…I put my little level on the platter and she is about 1/2 bubble off plumb is all. She is a heavy piece of old glass, weighing in at a little over 3 lb. before packing!

VERY NICE CONDITION! NO CRACKS! NO CHIPS! CRYSTAL CLEAR & SPARKLING…any colors in the pictures are either photographer error or reflections, this piece is colorless, NO purpling. There are some bubbles and strawmarks, as expected in glass from this era. She has a lot of fine, light scratching to the plate face and top of the foot.. best seen by holding the plate up to bright light. She must have been someone’s favorite cake server! 🙂 She’s a very special old cake server, one we SELDOM SEE, and she displays beautifully. You won’t be disappointed, she’s an absolute TREASURE!
