Although in age-worn condition, this nice-sized, 22-inch, 1920s, (embossed) IDEAL (in a diamond shape), is utterly irresistible. Named Flossie Flirt, she has flirty, blue-tin sleep eyes, that give her a shy yet inquisitive nature. Made of composition and cloth, her flaws include crazing, paint lift/loss, repaint (right lower leg) and a non-functioning mama crier device. Â As if this weren’t enough, a previous owner applied hot glue over some of the paint lifts on both lower legs. Wearing an original, blonde mohair wig (soiled and balding), she is costumed for display in a pink-floral dress and a “bunny” sweater, that are much newer than she is.
