Small slide case (originally from T. Gerrard & Co. – label on lid) contains 12 botanical preparations by Richard Suter. All the slides are ringed (all but one in black and white) and although some of the slides show some yellowing of the mountant all the preparations are good and of a quality one expects from this preparer and all have good, clean, descriptive labels. Typical subjects: “Longl. section Seed, Nux Vomica”, “Tr. sect. of Oat (at a node)”, “Tr. section Ovary of Bigonia(sic)” etc. etc. A delightful group of slides.
