I have shown the exact complete Case Associates Set we recently purchased, showing you what the Case Associates Set looked like on the factory board. For Case Hobo collectors, this is the chance to acquire this pattern without having to purchase the entire set.
The individual patterns have been difficult to acquire, because of the initial cost of the set. Each complete Case Associates Set consists of 45 knives and I saw them sell when issued for between $3,000.00-$5,000, and that was 10 years ago.
Of the 45 knives assembled in the Case Associates Set, there were 3 handle material varieties: Case’s “Peachseed” Jigged Black Pocket Worn (cattle bone), Case’s “Peachseed” Jigged Antique (cattle bone), and Genuine Stag.
The Case Associates Set models have the same all nickel silver components as the Case Select Series have: all feature the nickel silver bolsters, pins, shield, and liners.
This Case Associates knife for auction is the “Peachseed” Jigged Antique Pocket Worn Hobo, 4 1/8″ closed.
The Fork is tang stamped with Case XX USA with 5 X’s and 5 Dots, dating this as a 2000 issue Case knife, with the front tang of the Clip blade being stamped with USA 6254 HB SS.
