Wonderful, Hard to Find, Art Deco Era Made in Japan Cube Teapot, Majolica, 1920s, Kitchen Kitsch

This great teapot is the ubiquitous CUBE teapot, no doubt originally designed by some top notch technician, then copied to be made in Japan by the large factories there, the skilled laborers could copy anything…and they did! This pot is in amazing condition for its 1920’s vintage, no chips, no flakes, and other than a hairline that goes from the inner lip that holds the lid to the exterior corner (I detected this with black light) just beautiful. It measures approx 5” tall and is 8” from hangle to spout. Even the spout is geometric. The sweet and colorful majolica glazes really place this within the era. Marked simply, in black, very faint, Made in Japan. This will make a stunning addition to your collection of made in Japan art deco wares. This may not have a luster glaze but it is still one of the pinnacle pieces you will find here on website.

THANKS FOR LOOKING! fees seem too high? This is likely due to the website shipping calculator. It is frequently wrong and by this I mean usually. When I ship your item and you have clearly overpaid, I will send you a refund for any shipping overpayment over a dollar.

I ship once a week, on Thursday. Please pay via PayPal within 7 days of the end of your auction.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION BEFORE BIDDING!!!
