A very fine French bronze medal designed and signed by Annette Landry.
A simple bronze medal decorated with a bunch of flowers and a verse of poetry by the French poet Joachim du Bellay (1522-60); which translates to
I offer these violets,
These lilies and the florets
and the roses here
These bright red roses,
all freshly blooming,
And these carnations, too.
Fully signed and marked.

Very good condition. Original lacquer.
