Black Powder Horn Cup with Metal Hook Antique, Primitive, Vintage
This is a very old powder horn. The horn with the hook is about 8†long. The wider part of the horn is open and is about 2 3/8†across. The metal hook is fastened on the horn with 2 metal nails. The nails are flat & round on the outside & on the inside. The hook is about 3/8†long above the horn and about 1/4†wide metal and 3/8†open (could fit over a ¼†piece of wood to hang on it). The inside looks kind of scaly. I do not know what this was used for.
For 17 years I lived in an 1840 one room school house decorated with Vintage, Antique & Primitive items. I moved to an ultra modern rancher. I am selling my items from the old house.
