Antique Waterman’s Ideal Fountain Pen & Mechanical Pencil Set, Black Herringbone

This antique Waterman’s Ideal Fountain Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set came from an estate here in eastern Connecticut.

* Both are in what looks like black hard rubber with a herringbone design

* The pen measures 5-3/8″ long capped, 5-1/8″ long uncapped

* The pencil measures 5-1/4″ long

* The pocket clip and the fill lever of the pen are both marked: WATERMAN’S IDEAL (the Ideal being inside a baseball) 

* The barrel of the pen is marked: WATERMAN’S

* Both the pen and the pencil look to be in very good condition with just a few light marks from general use. It looks like there is a very small chip on one side of the pencil tip. There is no other damage that we could see.
