Up for bid is one of the most unusual pieces of Wagner Ware cast iron i have come across before. I thought it was missing a lid or had something that fits underneath but research has shown that its complete as it stands. It is a #1350 Stove Top Broiler/Grill. It looks like their other pans with raised ribs but this pan doesn’t have a solid bottom! The ribs are arched across the pan and looks like louvered window blinds. I would be a bit hesitant to throw meat on this and have the grease hit the flames but it does work great for vegetables.
Since i test everything i sell, i spent yesterday grilling up some veggies on this particular pan. It works great but will need to be seasoned further since it was quite dry when i found it. I seasoned it once but will need a few more layers to get it perfect.
The pan has no cracks or missing pieces. There have been no repairs and the wood handle is in great condition. It looks like the black paint was original and it has only worn off in a few places.
It measures10 1/2″ wide and the longest measurement is 17 1/2″. I will unscrew the handle so it will fit in a USPS flat rate box.
