Offered is a very old five-decade Italian rosary with an ornate 1.88" cross/crucifix. The faceted light blue beads are made of glass. There are no broken or missing beads and I cannot find any damage to the rosary, other than the normal rubbing and discoloration of the metal due to age. The crucifix and center medal are plain/flat on back with the exception of the word "ITALY" on the back of the cross. The cross and center medal are substantial in weight and thickness, and there is no aluminum. The rosary measures 18.5" in length when stretched out long. It is a very nice, sweet, old rosary similar in kind to those which my late, beloved Italian Catholic grandmother used to own. These rosaries are very clean and come from a pet hair-free, smoke-free and mildew-free home.
