ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD FILLED ENAMEL BOOKCHAIN BIRD LOCKET NECKLACE
Item Description
Up for sale I have a Victorian Gold Filled Enamel Bookchain Bird Locket Necklace. The bookchain has an etched design on both sides, with one side also having white and blue enameling. The locket is quite unique with a bird and I think Palm Trees with green leaves. There are two tiny seed pearls, one on each side of the top of the locket. I beleive this is a mourning locket and probably held hair at one point. The locket opens and closes well, but does show wear with some dents/nicks to the backside and wear to the plating as can be seen in the photos. The bookchain is all intact, with just one spot of enamel missing on one link. The locket measures approximately 1.6 by 1 inch and the bookchain is 18 inches long. Overall nice condition for such an old treasure!

International bidders – prior to so that I can quote shipping costs. International shipping will go First Class Registered Mail International at a cost of $18. If you require tracking on your International shipping the cost will be quoted prior to an invoice being sent and the cost will vary depending on the weight of the package.
I will combine shipping upon winning multiple items. All items will be shipped priority mail for domestic addresses and First Class Registered Mail for International. prior to the end of the auction to inquire about alternative shipping methods.

I always do my best to describe the items thoroughly and accurately and provide multiple picture angles. Many of the items I list are vintage/antique and range between 10 to 100 years old.
