This was discovered on the forgotten warehouse shelf of an ancient auto parts store that closed it’s doors after 75 years in business… I believe it was manufactured back in the 1930’s, but don’t know for sure.
It’s still in it’s original package and it is unused. The plating has gone grey over the decades as you can see in the pictures. It’s still a good useable tool.
This is a “valve fishing tool” for building up tube type tires. If you’ve ever mounted tube type tires, the valve stem wants to disappear down into the wheel while you are mounting the tire. This eliminates that frustration.
This tool screws onto the Schrader valve, and has a chain to retrieve it if it slips down in there. The coolest part is that you leave this installed until the tire is aired up! This is like a valve extension, since you air the tire through it before removing the tool.
The thrifty First Class Mail shipping option sweetens the deal.
