This antique corkscrew is a very pretty example of one of the better designed implements, in my view as an engineer. It has a ball-bearing load carrying compartment at the top of the body and has a very smooth operation. Marked “Solon” on the one side and “DRGM No 152004” on the other it is very neat and the plain brass finish is rather more appealing than the normal plated finish. It measures 13cm in length and 6.5cm across the handle and is in very good, fully functional condition with a sharp, undamaged helical screw.
Paypal is the preferred form of payment and there is no charge for this service. Personal cheques, postal orders and bank drafts are acceptable but these may delay shipment while funds are cleared. All payments must be in UK Pounds.
All goods will be very carefully packed and sent by first class post or airmail unless otherwise stated. The quoted cost of delivery includes a small allowance for packing material.
