I have up for auction today an ANTIQUE Solid STERLING Silver Lipstick or Cheroot Holder/Case Hallmarked and Dated CHESTER 1901 *SUPERB BARGAIN*
This is a fabulous and very HIGH QUALITY Antique Solid Sterling Silver Lipstick or Cheroot Holder/Case as you can see by the photos, which can be seen on the left hand side of my written description.
This is a beautiful and most desirable holder/case, however I am unsure if this is a lipstick holder/case or a cheroot holder/case.
Nevertheless, whichever you desire it to be it is in considering this case is a grand old age of 111 years old.
The case is quite plain with no embossed designs, so therefore there is plenty of space if you wish to have this case personalised either for yourself or for someone special.
The case/holder is hinged and the hinges are in good order and the case/holder shuts good and tight.
Upon opening the case/holder it reveals that it has been gilded inside and you can see there are sections inside the case and I believe the centre section is where you would place your lipstick or your cheroot.
Also inside the lid part it has been clearly hallmarked and dated as follows:- The Assay Lion Passant, the Wheatsheaves representing CHESTER and the date letter ‘A’ denoting the year 1901.
The Maker’s mark reads as follows:- W.N.
This fine collectable piece measures 6cm by 3cm and weighs 29.2 grams.

Estimated Delivery Times:-
I endeavour to post out packages within 2 working days of receiving payment and all packages are sent via ROYAL MAIL.
I post/send/ship packages each:- Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (except for bank holidays or unforeseen illness).
The estimated delivery times given by Royal Mail are as follows:-
UNITED KINGDOM: Up to approximately 7 Working Days (depending on whether posted via Next Day Special or Recorded Delivery)
EUROPE: Up to approximately 15 Working Days
USA/Worldwide: Up to approximately 21 Working Days
If Parcel Force is used for large and heavy items overseas – these packages can take up to 36 Days to arrive.
International Buyers Please Note:- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or P&P charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
