This is an old wooden homemade coat hanger dating possibly to the 1800s. It is 18 inches long and about 3 inches wide. The wood appears to be chestnut. The hanger is in excellent as found condition and has not been cleaned or waxed. Waxing should bring out the patina in this old piece. A most unusual and early hanger for your collection.Its perfect for holding a vintage country frock. The shipping weight is 1 pound 6 ounces.Thanks for looking.
